There’s a superstition that we were all created in twos and another superstition that dead people get reincarnated. Well, I’m not superstitious but you can’t deny the striking resemblance between these celebrities and other unknown people who have existed in the past. I mean, at some point, we all find that one look-alike, which is pretty cool, else the careers of character-doubles and stunt-doubles will be ruined, right? Here are some famous celebrities with historical look-alikes.
1. Eddie Murphy and his unknown lookalike
Eddie Murphy is a famous actor, comedian, producer, singer, and screenwriter. His career started in the early 1970s when he was a stand-up comedian. After which he became a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live in the 1980s, loved by viewers and his fellow actors who thought he was the show’s breath of fresh air. His lookalike is spotted left of the picture above – an unknown man from the 1800s.
2. Anne Hathaway and Spanish Painter Francisco Jose de Goya y Lucientes
Anne Hathaway is an award-winning American actress and singer who has been famous in Hollywood for the last 20 years. Some of the films she’s starred in include; The Princess Diaries, Ocean’s 8, Bride Wars, to mention a few. Her lookalike, Francisco Goya, was a Spanish Romantic painter, considered the most important Spanish painter of the 18th and 19th centuries. Some of his paintings, which went viral include; The Clothed Maja, The Naked Maja, and The Execution of the Defenders of Madrid.
