My name is Peter, and for a long time I struggled with colds that lasted for months, constant exhaustion no matter how much I slept, and stomach issues that eventually got diagnosed as IBS.
I consulted numerous doctors and tried countless medications. Nothing brought lasting relief. Over time my condition only got worse.
What made it even harder was not knowing why. I kept looking for a physical explanation because my symptoms were physical. It never occurred to me to look anywhere else.
What I finally discovered

After years of searching I found something I hadn’t considered. My symptoms weren’t random. They were my body’s response to something that had been building under the surface for a long time. A combination of stress, anxiety, and disrupted sleep that I had normalised so completely I stopped noticing it.
Once I understood that connection, everything changed. I stopped fighting my body and started understanding it. Things slowly began to improve.
The frustrating part is how long it took me to see the full picture. Not because the information wasn’t out there. But because nobody had ever looked at all of it together – my physical symptoms, my anxiety levels, my mood and my sleep – at the same time.

Why I built this assessment
I created MindBodyCheck for people like me back then. People who know something is wrong but can’t figure out what.
The assessment evaluates four areas that often underlie persistent health issues using validated medical screening tools:
- PHQ-15 — Somatic symptoms
- GAD-7 — Anxiety levels
- PHQ-8 — Emotional strain
- AIS — Sleep quality
It takes about 10 minutes. At the end you get a personalised breakdown of what your results mean and what deserves attention.
It won’t diagnose you. But it will show you the full picture, the same kind of picture that took me years to piece together on my own.

The questionnaires used in this assessment are internationally recognised and have been applied extensively in clinical practice and research settings.
